About Me:

An avid outdoorsman, hiker, leader, engineer, athlete, drone pilot, uncle, entrepreneur, music lover, serial hobbyist.

Fueled by ADHD and challenged by questionable decisions.

For the past 15 years, I’ve excelled at building high-performing engineering and operations teams specializing within the aerospace and defense industries. I have led cross-functional teams on highly complex machining, missile, radar, optical and laser, and additive manufacturing programs. I have found the teams I built, the people I’ve mentored and the programs I’ve impacted all very rewarding.

However, there is much more out there than spending days in a cubical tanning under incandescent lights to push one more product out the door for the hope to retire someday. I knew it was my time to get out for a little bit and live more of my life once again! It was time to pursue something I was passionate about.

I left work, packed everything up, booked a plane ticket to Central America to lay low for a while, crashed on some random couches and set out on the PCT from the Mexican border.

Come along with me and learn more about who I am, what drives me, what scares me, what I love, and some of my deepest secrets as I really challenge my self through out this series.

The wild is a beautiful place and I shall explore it!
